I was pleased to find the staff remarkably friendly and helpful, which always enhances a stay. While the room was compact, it was comfortable and equipped with practical amenities-such as a kettle and fridge-that allowed for a sense of home. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight; I relished a diverse array of dishes, showcasing culinary innovation that seamlessly blended local flavors with modern techniques. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making each meal a delightful experience. I particularly enjoyed breakfast at the nearby pasticceria, an excursion worth taking given the fresh pastries and genuine atmosphere. Fiume's proximity to culinary gems complements its hospitality, making it an ideal stop for travelers who appreciate good food as much as exploration.
